This business was set up to cater for the never ending line of
people who constantly complain about the lack of availability of
good quality towing mirrors.
Clearview mirrors has taken approximately 4.5 years to develop this
range of quality towing mirrors.
Our mirrors are not a strap on mirror type, there's no bars and
poles running across the car and they are definitely not cheap and
nasty.
The problem is nothing has been done about quality towing mirrors
for our market here in Australia, until now.
We have developed a full replacement mirror, in other words you take
off your existing mirror and fit our mirror in the original
position. The mirrors bolt up in the same holes as the original
mirror and with the exact same wiring for the electrics.
Yes these mirrors are electrically operated, in the same way as your
original mirrors.
When you hook up your caravan all you need to do is pull the mirror
head outwards and it extends outwards another 4.5 inches to see past
the side of the caravan. The mirrors are much bigger than the
standard mirror, and allow much clearer vision for safer towing. The
mirrors are made robust for Australian conditions, and will not
vibrate when travelling at highway speeds.
At present we have 6 models of mirrors ready to go and they are
designed to fit Toyota Landcruiser 100 series, Nissan GU Patrol, 200 series Landcruiser,120
series Prado, F Series Ford and Chev Silverado with other makes and
models being announced when we
have finished our rigorous testing. Nissan Navara Available June
2011.
